About the service and who runs it
Last updated: 3 November 2026
ChartPNG turns a Chart.js config into a PNG image through an HTTP API. It is run by Oscar Gallego.
Who runs it
Oscar Gallego runs ChartPNG: the data controller named on the privacy page and the operator named in the terms.
How to get in touch
- Email: hola@chartpng.dev, for support, refunds and privacy requests.
- X: @oscarg908.
- GitHub: chartpng/chartpng, the client, the MCP server and the n8n templates, MIT licensed. Issues are welcome there.
Payments and VAT
The Pro plan costs €9 a month. Polar is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles VAT and other sales tax. Card details go to Polar and its payment processor, and we never see them. The terms cover refunds and cancellation.
Where it runs
ChartPNG runs on Vercel. The site is static and the API runs as Vercel functions in the US East region. The privacy page lists every service that processes data for us.
When it launched
ChartPNG launched on 2 November 2026. Changes since then are in the changelog, and the success rate and response time of the API, measured every hour, are on the status page.
